Welcome — and thank you for becoming a patron. Here’s how to set up access to the Soundslice tutorial library and start learning tunes.
It takes a few minutes the first time. You’ll need a free Soundslice account in addition to your Patreon membership, and you’ll unlock each tutorial once with an access code. After that, getting to any tutorial is just a click.
The setup steps
- Patreon – If you haven’t already, join the TrailJams Patreon channel. This is what unlocks access to the Soundslice tutorials.
- Soundslice – Sign up for a free Soundslice account. Important: use the same email address for your Patreon and Soundslice accounts.
- Tutorials – Go to one of the TrailJams tune lists — Tunes or Tune Sets. From there you can unlock and access each tutorial.
How “Unlock” and “Learn” work
On each tune page in the TrailJams collection, you’ll see links labeled “Unlock” and “Learn”.
- The first time you access a tutorial, click Unlock. You’ll be taken to Patreon (where the access code is shown), then to Soundslice (where you’ll paste the code). This only has to happen once per tutorial.
- Every time after that, click Learn. It takes you straight to the tutorial.
Soundslice on your phone or tablet
You can make Soundslice look and feel like a native app on your mobile device. Adding Soundslice to your device’s home screen gives you an icon on the display and lets Soundslice fill the whole screen. Learn more and set it up.

The design of Soundslice makes it easy to use. But if you get stuck or want to learn how to make the best use of the Soundslice features, there are detailed instructions available, with video examples, in the Soundslice Help page.
