Jig, D, Scottish, by G. S. McLennan (1883-1929)

This tune is a Scottish jig that is firmly in the repertoire of Irish traditional tune players. It is a four-part tune that begins in D Major, and then changes to G major for the final half. The tune’s composer, Pipe Major George Stewart McLennan, was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1883.
