Jig, G, Traditional Irish
Also known as: Coppers and Brass; Cavan Lasses
This tune gets its name from the town of Ennistymon, in County Clare, Ireland. It is a three-part tune, having a third part added (it seems) to the tune “Coppers and Brass.” The first part of the tune skips along as if it has a lollipop in one hand and a puppy’s leash in the other. In the third part, the arpeggios cascade like the waterfalls in Ennistymon.
